My passions lie in developing students' talents and giving each student information and skills to succeed. Beginning in residence life, I began individualizing my work with students, understanding their opportunities and barriers, and creating a holistic approach to aid in developing their college and career plans. I strive to use my counseling skills in order to work with students to enact positive change in their lives, taking into account their strengths and identities.
Particular areas of interest of mine are social justice, supports and barriers, college and career readiness, students in transition, and mental and emotional health education.
