I have been a Certified School Counselor (WV) since 2011, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-WV) since 2014 and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) since 2013. I hold my M.A. degree in Counseling from Marshall University and currently pursuing my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University.
I am a counselor St. Albans High School in St. Albans, West Virginia and teach part-time in an adjunct capacity for Marshall University to supervise practicum and intern graduate students. In the spring of 2015 I was recognized as High School Counselor of the Year by the West Virginia School Counselor Association. I am an active member of both ASCA and the WVSCA where I currently serve as President-Elect. I also serve as a member of the QuestBridge’s Educator Advisory Committee; a platform designed to connect high achieving, low-income students to access to the nation’s top tier colleges and universities.
I enjoy spending my free time playing tennis, working out, and spending time in the great outdoors kayaking, rafting, and hiking, to name a few.
